PROTECTION OF CHILDREN DURING ARMED CONFLICT

Children need special protection in situations of armed conflict. Recent examples in which countries and opposing factions have agreed to suspend hostilities and adopt special measures such as corridors of peace to allow relief supplies to reach women and children.
